Cookies
Acceptance of cookies is not a prerequisite for browsing our pages. However, please note that our website and services have limited functionality if we are not permitted to place cookies.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small files that are stored on your device and that store certain settings and data for exchange with our systems via your browser. In principle, there are two types of cookie: so-called session cookies, which are deleted as soon as the browser is closed, and permanent/temporary cookies, which are stored for an extended or indefinite period on your device. This storage is necessary in order to be able to set the pages of our site and our offers in a more suitable way to you and therefore facilitate its fruition, for example by storing certain settings, so that it is not necessary to repeat them every time.
What types of cookies do Calabughi’s sites use?
Most of the cookies we use are automatically deleted from your hard drive at the end of your browser session (that’s why they’re called session cookies). Session cookies are used, for example, to provide you with a multi-page shopping cart function. We also use cookies that remain on your hard drive. In the following visits you have the automatic
recognition of the fact that you have already been on our site and which settings and data you prefer. These temporary or permanent cookies (lasting from 1 month to 10 years) are stored on your hard drive and delete themselves when the set time expires. In particular, these cookies serve to make our offer more usable for consumers, and more efficient and secure. With these files, for example, you can view on the site information selected individually according to your interests. The sole purpose of these cookies is to tailor our offer as closely as possible to the wishes of our customers and to make your visit to our website as comfortable as possible.
What data is stored in cookies?
The cookies used by Calabughi only use pseudonymised data. The activation of cookies is combined with an identification code and there is no match between your personal data and this identification code. Your name, IP address or similar data, which may allow you to trace directly from the cookie to you, are not placed in the cookie. On the basis of the cookie technology we only obtain pseudonymised information, e.g. regarding the pages of our site have been visited, the products have been examined etc.
What is onsite targeting?
Using cookie technology on Calabughi’s web pages we collect data to optimize our advertising and the complete online offer. This data is not used to identify you personally, but only for the pseudonymised evaluation of the use of the site. With this technology we can present you with advertisements and/or specific offers and services whose content is based on information obtained from clickstream analysis (e.g. advertising based on the fact that in recent days you have only looked at trainers). Our aim is to make our online offer as attractive as possible for you and to present you with advertising that matches your areas of interest.
Are there also third-party cookies?
Calabughi uses a number of advertising partners to help make the Internet offer and website pages more interesting for you. So when you visit our site you also have the storage of cookies of partner companies on your hard drive. These are temporary or permanent cookies that are automatically deleted when the set time expires. These temporary or permanent cookies (lasting from 14 days to 10 years) are stored on your hard drive and delete themselves when the set time expires. Cookies from partner companies also contain only pseudonymised or even anonymised data. These are, for example, data on which products you have examined, whether you have purchased
something, which products you have searched for etc.. Some of our advertising partner companies collect information even beyond the web pages on the pages you visited previously or which products you were interested in, in order to be able to display advertising that best suits your interests.
Retargeting
To this end, our websites use retargeting technologies. We use these technologies to make the Internet offer more attractive to you. This technology allows us to contact internet users who are already interested in our shop and our products on our partners’ websites. We are convinced that the display of customised and interest-related advertising is generally more attractive to the Internet user than advertising without such references. The display of advertising media on our partners’ pages is based on cookie technology and analysis of previous usage behaviour. This form of advertising takes place in a completely pseudonymised manner.
If you use our pages, we place cookies and collect, store and use your usage data with them. In addition, your data is also stored after the end of the session with the browser, to be called up, for example, when you next visit our site.
How do you exclude the storage of cookies?
In your browser you can set the option that only accepts cookies if you agree and thus prevent the further storage of cookies in the future. If you want to accept Calabughi’s cookies but not those of other service providers and partners, you can choose the “Block third-party cookies” setting in your browser.
Normally the help function in the toolbar of your web browser explains how to refuse new cookies and make existing ones ineffective.
Log files
For each access to the Calabughi web pages, usage data is transmitted by the respective Internet browser and stored in log files, so-called web server log files. The data sets stored in this procedure contain the following data: date and time of the call, name of the called site, IP address, referrer URL (URL of origin, that of the site through which you arrived at the site in question), the amount of data transmitted, as well as information on products and the version of the browser used.
We process these logfile datasets to improve and make shops more usable, to identify and remove errors faster, and to manage server capacities. At the same time, we use logfile data sets to reject attacks on our shop, for example in the context of so-called distributed denial of service attacks, which aim to block our servers by overloading them with
requests.
Web analysis
In order to continuously improve and optimise our offer, we use so-called tracking technologies. For this purpose, we use the services of Google Analytics and Webtrekk.
Google Analytics
This website uses Google (Universal) Analytics, a web analysis service offered by Google Inc. (www.google.de). Google (Universal) Analytics uses methods that allow an analysis of your use of the website, such as so-called cookies, text files that are stored on your computer. The information created about your use of the website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. In the case of activation of IP anonymisation on this website in the EU Member States and other signatory states to the Convention on the European Economic Area, your IP address will be shortened before it is transmitted. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA. The anonymised IP address transmitted by your browser to Google Analytics will not
be combined with other Google data.
You can prevent the collection and transmission of data generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) to Google and its distribution via Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available under the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=it.
Alternatively to the browser plug-in you can click on this link to prevent detection by Google Analytics on this website. Doing so will install an opt-out cookie on your terminal device. If you delete your cookies, you must click on the link again.
Webtrekk
In addition, for the statistical evaluation of websites, we use the technologies of Webtrekk GmbH, Boxhagener Str. 76-78, 10245 Berlin (www.webtrekk.de). With the help of Webtrekk’s services, we collect statistical data on the use of our web offer. This data is used to continuously improve and optimize Calabughi’s shops and our offer and to make
the pages of the website more interesting for you. For the web-controlling software used by Calabughi, Webtrekk GmbH has been certified, in the field of data protection, by TÜV Saarland. In this context, the collection and processing of tracking data in terms of data security and compliance with data protection was specifically checked and monitored. The information that your browser transmits in connection with the use of these websites is
collected and evaluated. This is done by means of cookie technology and so-called pixels, which are integrated into each website. In this context, the following data is collected: request (name of requested files), browser type and version, browser language, operating system used, internal resolution of the browser window, screen resolution, Javascript activation, Java on/off, cookies on/off, colour depth, referrer URL, IP address (it is only detected anonymously and deleted immediately after use), access time, clicks made, order values, shopping carts and anonymous form content (e.g. if a telephone number has been entered and not). Direct pairing with a person is excluded at any time. The data collected in this way is used to compile anonymous usage profiles that provide the basis for web statistics. The data collected with Webtrekk technologies will not be used without the prior consent of the person concerned to the personal identification of the user of these web pages and will not be combined at any time with the data of the person associated with the pseudonym.
The collection and storage of data via Webtrekk can be objected to at any time with effect for the future. For this purpose, please use the following link: https://www.webtrekk.com/en/index/opt-out-webtrekk/
Confirming this link, an opt-out cookie is added. This cookie is valid for 5 years. Please note that if you delete cookies from your computer you also delete this opt-out cookie, i.e. if you continue to object to anonymous data collection via Webtrekk you must re-enter the opt-out cookie. The opt-out cookie is set for each browser and each terminal device. If you visit our site with different browsers or from home and office, you must place the opt-out cookie on each computer and on each browser.
