Terms and conditions


Unless otherwise expressly set out in other specific provisions, in these General Conditions of Sale, the terms listed below have the meaning attributed to them in the following definitions:

“Business Day” or “Business Days” are intended as the days on which our offices are open for normal business activities (generally all days from 9 am to 6 pm excluding Saturdays, Sundays, holidays and on the occasion of some exceptional circumstances of which we will give you timely notice on this site).

“Force Majeure Events” include situations resulting (directly or indirectly) from any strikes, lockouts, fires, floods, proven inability to procure products, materials or services, failures, delays by suppliers or couriers, governmental laws or regulations or any other cause or event beyond our control. The above is given only as an example. There are other events that can have a force majeure character.


These General Conditions of Sale refer to the purchase of CALABUGHI products performed at distance through the internet on website “www.calabughi.com, owned by Calabughi srl, with registered office in via Mercanti no. 8 – 56127 Pisa. These purchases are reserved for direct user customers. Each purchase transaction will be governed by the provisions of Legislative Decree. 185/99 and, with regard to the protection of confidentiality, will be subject to the legislation under Legislative Decree no. 196/03.


When the Customer carries out an on-line order for the products that s/he has inserted in the basket, s/he accepts to purchase them in accordance with the price and the terms outlined in these General Conditions of Sale.

CALABUGHI will not accept orders:

– if the material, at the time of ordering, is not available in stock (if the material is not available, it will at any event not be possible to add it to the cart) and / or

– if the Client’s credit card issuer does not confirm the payment.

CALABUGHI reserves the right not to accept the order, at its discretion.


These General Terms and Conditions of Sale must be examined online by Customers before sending their orders. Submission of the order implies full knowledge and acceptance of these conditions.

Once the online purchase procedure has been completed, the Customer undertakes to print and keep these general conditions of sale, already viewed and accepted during the purchase process, in order to fully satisfy the condition set out in Articles. 3 and 4 of Legislative Decree no. 185/1999.


All prices on the site are inclusive of VAT.

The prices shown on this site are the current sales prices. In the event that the price of the goods ordered is reported by CALABUGHI in a clearly discordant manner, the order may be cancelled at any time by CALABUGHI or by the Customer, provided that happens before the goods are sent, and it will be possible to reorder the products at the correct selling price.


Payment of the purchased products and associated shipping costs must be made by the customer when placing the order by using one of the credit cards available and indicated online or by bank transfer. In this case CALABUGHI will process the order upon receipt of the Transfer. CALABUGHI is not responsible for any fraudulent or illegal use that may be made by third parties of credit cards upon payment of the products purchased.


In case of acceptance of the order please note that:

– for orders accepted on the website before 1 pm on a working day, the shipment of goods normally takes place within 72 hours;

– for orders received after 1 pm this will be processed the next working day and then the 72 hours become 96 hours after the order;

– If the order was placed on a non-working day, the order will still be shipped within 96 hours from the first subsequent working day.

Exceptions may occur in the case of Force Majeure Events.

The goods will be delivered by GLS express courier at home.

Shipment means the delivery of the goods to the courier.

The delivery times described during the purchase process on the website depend on the shipping method used, the destination of the goods and on the weight and size of the items purchased. The courier will deliver the goods only against a signature confirming receipt of the same.

In the event that the goods, shipped by courier, do not arrive within the deadline, the customer must contact CALABUGHI at the number indicated on this site.

In the event that the goods have not been delivered due to inability of the customer to receive them, the latter must first contact the courier through the contacts that are provided by the courier itself for cases of non-receipt of the goods and, if this is not possible, the toll-free customer service number specified on this site.


If the shipment of the goods does not take place within the agreed time or the courier does not provide for the delivery of the goods within the agreed delivery time, CALABUGHI will contact the customer as soon as possible and, based on the needs of the latter, will try to establish another delivery time.

In the event that it is not possible to reach an agreement to this effect, CALABUGHI will refund the customer the full amount paid.


To exercise this right, the customer must contact the service indicated on the site, follow the instructions that the operator will provide and send CALABUGHI a notice to that effect, within 7 working days from the date of receipt of goods. This notice must be sent by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt, or by telegram or fax sent within the aforementioned period of 7 days and followed by a confirmation sent by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt within the following 48 hours.

Once we receive the above notice of withdrawal, CALABUGHI will quickly communicate to the customer details on how to return the goods.


As the only charge, and if the error is not attributable to CALABUGHI, the Customer will bear the cost of returning the goods.

The goods must be returned intact and in their original packaging, complete with all its parts and without having suffered any damage.

Upon arrival at the warehouse, the goods will be examined and, in the presence of damage or tampering, the cancellation can not be exercised.

CALABUGHI will refund the customer the full amount already paid within the terms provided for by law. The refund will be made by crediting the amount due to the credit card used by the customer for the purchase subject to refund.

It will be the customer’s responsibility to promptly provide CALABUGHI with all the information necessary for a correct and prompt refund procedure.


Any complaint must be addressed directly to CALABUGHI, after contacting customer service or e-mail at the dedicated address specified on the website. CALABUGHI undertakes to respond to complaints within three working days.


The sales agreement between the Customer and CALABUGHI is considered to have been concluded in Italy and is governed by Italian Law. For any dispute relating to the validity, interpretation or performance of the same contract, the territorial jurisdiction shall be the court of the place of residence or domicile of the consumer, if located in the territory of the Italian State.


Online purchases are shipped and delivered within a maximum of 7 days throughout the country by express courier GLS, Monday to Friday, from 9.00 to 18.00. All orders received are processed and shipped as soon as possible, following authorization of the payment of the credit card and clearly following the availability of stock.
